Special Fathers Network: Fathers Raising Children with Special Needs

Special Fathers Network is a nonprofit dad-to-dad mentoring program for fathers raising children with special needs. Through our personalized matching process, new fathers with a special needs child are connected with another father (A Mentor Father) who has experienced a similar situation.

Mentor Fathers are matched as closely as possible based on the child’s special need, gender, ethnicity, socioeconomic group, and relationship to the child (i.e.father, stepfather, grandfather), providing the younger father with a special needs child, a chance to ask personal questions and receive support from a peer who is truly familiar with the situation.
